29th Ketamine Infusion

To be honest, I forget about this blog a lot now. So much has happened that I don't even know where to start.
I had my 29th Ketamine this week. I know it's earlier than I usually do treatments, but I start a treatment called TMS soon, and I need to make sure my brain and mental state are ready for what's to come with that.
I finish the semester this week, and as of right now, I have all A's (even in math)! It's been a wild ride and I am so damn proud of everything I am doing right now. Next semester I will be attending the community college and the University, and after that semester, it's pushing through the Psychology classes and I will have a bachelor's degree. I cannot believe I made it this far, but I am so grateful I did.
By January, we will be living in Utah again! This was a huge surprise, but we're so excited about this next adventure and what it will bring.
My mental health has been pretty stable since Ketamine. If I weren't about to do TMS, I would be pushing out this infusion. I am no longer on any mental health medications, which has been a huge accomplishment. The TMS potentially could prove that I am indeed not epileptic, which would mean taking away more medication and removing damage that is happening to my brain regularly.
So, I went and had a brain map done again, and this doctor provided more information. He thinks what they diagnosed as seizures are my brain shutting down due to trauma. The left side of my brain isn't functioning at full capacity, which is making my right side overwork. Both of these things happening could be why I have memory problems, speech problems, and my depression and anxiety are so high. I'll have to get an updated EEG after the TMS treatment to confirm, but the chance is high.
Regardless of what the results are, I'm ready for this new ride and grateful for the support I have from everyone I love. Life is about to be really good for us, Hamelins :)
